What age range are the programs suitable for?
Our programs were originally created for children and teens ages 7-15 years, though honestly, we have children from ages 4-25 using our programs right now. Why? These life skills are universal! To figure out if your child will respond to the animations and characters, have them watch a few of the sample animations on the homepage. Most kids like our programs as they are humorful, and they feature realistic characters in real-life situations at both home and school.
Will it work for my child?
GoZen! provides informational programs to teach your kids some research-based coping, resilience, and happiness skills. We’re not medical professionals, so we always recommend seeing your doctor about any conditions you believe your child may be experiencing. We will say that the skills learned in the programs can be applied in a variety of domains–they are life skills! Think of these programs like a book (except a lot more fun). We’re providing information in an engaging format and a lot of kids respond to it because it’s relatable and easy to understand.
What academic research supports the Go! programs?

Can I receive a free trial of your programs?
Sign up for our newsletter on our homepage. You’ll immediately receive several free animations, straight from our full programs, to your email inbox. These will give you an idea of our teaching style and will provide animations that your child/student can preview.
How long does it take to go through the programs?
It depends on which animated program of ours you’re currently using, as they are all different lengths. Please see the recommendations we provide below. We also suggest taking into consideration your child’s own learning style and preferences, too:
GoZen: We recommend going through 1 module every few days. There are 6 modules in total. Some prefer to go through it all at once and then go back through it again at a slower pace.
GoStrengths: We recommend going through 1 module every week. There are 10 modules in total.
GoHackify: There are 26 core videos, and 5 modules in total. Every child’s learning needs are different, so we don’t like to give a prescribed timeline. For this program especially, the key is to allow your child to go at their own pace. However, if you want a suggested timeline – we offer two suggestions: The first is a 6 week process for children who want to learn concepts and do them as they go. The second is a 9 week process recommended for children who want to master concepts before moving on.
GoAction, GoPositive, GoToTheNow: We recommend going through these programs over the course of a few days, or throughout a week. Some prefer to go through it all at once and then go back through it again at a slower pace.
GoWave: We recommend watching a couple animations a day, or moving through the program within a week or two. There are 10 animations in total.
What exactly do I receive upon making a program purchase?
First, an online GoZen user account is created for you using the email address and password you provide at the time of purchase. This user account houses all of your purchases and it is the account you’ll sign into when using our programs. If you don’t remember your account password, you can change it on the login page.
Aside from the actual animations themselves, you also receive interactive practice sessions, follow up text explanations under each animation, printable worksheets and lesson plans, and a certificate of completion. If you purchase a professional license or a family membership, you also receive access to 6 parent masterclasses and to our Plus Library of supplementary content such as downloadable worksheets, games, flashcards, story-kits, meditations, etc.
What is the difference between the Family Membership and the Professional Subscription?
There is no difference other than the name. We want families to know that they are eligible for the bundled program subscription, too. Both the Family Membership and the Professional Subscription come with the exact same program access: all 7 of our animated programs, our Plus Library of resources, 6 parent masterclasses, and any updates in each of these areas.
How does a Professional Subscription with multiple licenses work?
A Professional Subscription with multiple licenses allows several users to access the GoZen programs and resources. This is a great option for a group of teachers in a school, or a group of private practice professionals who share the same office, for example.
Each team user has their own unique email and password login for accessing the GoZen programs. However, all of the team’s members can be managed (added or removed) by the owner and the manager of the team.
The individual who purchased the subscription ( the “owner” ) will sign into their online GoZen user account and from there, invite others to join the team using the registration link or email invite function that is provided. Once others have joined the team, the owner has the option of assigning the role of “manager” to a team member, allowing that individual to view team details and add/remove users from the team, too.
Does “user” refer to the child using the program, or the adult facilitating it?
“User” refers to the adult who has purchased the program and is facilitating its use with children/teens. The term “user” is also used on our website to refer to the number of licenses or “user seats” that are available for purchase with our Professional Subscription (e.g. “5 users”, “10 users”)
Can my kid(s) go through the programs on their own?
Sure. That said, we strongly recommend parents/teachers go through programs with children as this will facilitate implementing the new tools they learn at home and school.
Can I download programs?
Our programs are only available as online products. Why? We are consistently updating the content based on research and feedback, and adding in new material, too. We can only continue to update like this when we maintain the online format. You can download and print out the worksheets that accompany each program, as well as many of the resources in our Plus Library.
Can we share our login information with others?
If you’re a parent, you can use your login with your family (including your spouse and kids). In other words, if you have two children, you only need to purchase the program one time.
If you are a professional (a teacher, counselor, therapist, social worker, other professional), you can use your login for solo sessions, group sessions, or in a classroom setting. Your license does not allow for sharing login information with other professionals, parents, or students. If that is of interest to your colleagues or clients, we have programs just for them!
If you work at a school, you can purchase the appropriate number of concurrent licenses you require from our schools page.
We want to spread well-being skills to as many youthlings as possible and the only way to do this is to keep costs accessible, provide great value, and ask you to keep your login information to yourself. Are the programs mobile friendly?
Our programs are accessible on all computers, tablets, and mobile devices that have wifi access. Please note that the GoStrengths! narrated course requires Adobe Flash Player.
Do you offer your programs in other languages?
We don’t currently offer our programs in other languages, though it is our hope to do so in the future. Please stay in touch via our newsletter to receive notice of when that option becomes available. We do provide the option of closed captioning on all of our animations.
Do you have a refund policy?
We offer a 30-day money back guarantee on all program purchases, no questions asked. Please email us at email@example.com with you request for a refund. We will process it promptly. We do not provide a refund on the Positive Education Certification course or on physical products unless there is a defect.
Can I upgrade programs?
If you have purchased within the last 30-days, you may be eligible to upgrade to a program or bundle of greater value. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or connect with our chat feature on the site.
