Worry may be good, but finding answers from within is too.
My son who is now 17 had some pretty severe anxiety about going to school for the first few weeks of Kindergarten- 2nd Grade. His anxiety has surfaced in different ways over the years but going to school those early years was extremely painful for all of us. We discussed it with his 2nd grade teacher before the start of the school year and she made up a plan that worked great. He would go to school about 20 minutes early and help her with small projects like hanging stuff on the wall, stapling, etc. Getting there before all the other students with a task at hand worked like a charm and about the 3rd week of school we graduated to arriving with the other students.
