Brings me back to middle school in the 80’s, when we made these to decide on anything from homework assignments, to if our latest crush liked us! …Fabulous idea (and much better useage here). Really. It’s such a tactile and visual tool to help with focus and redirection, during anxious or angry moments. I love how the auditory aspect gets included, if spoken out loud too…My granddaughter is only 3, and suffers from terrible fits during transitionary situations, or not being able to express herself well enough yet. I’m looking forward to having her use this. (She can’t read yet, but can count very high, and recognize all her letters. So I’ll modify it a bit.) Thanks for all your amazing resources!
I particularly loved the video showing the girl actually experiencing fear and the bubbles to her thoughts. I think this will be very helpful for my students.
